Pop-up Alert

Hi folks,

Am I right to say that in the Alert Cofigurator, setting “exec {hciguimsg -alert -message ……. ” as Action will only work on PCs running an emulator like Exceed?

If Exceed is not installed, how else can I get an alert message to pop up on a PC?
