Upgrading to 5.4.1 or 5.5 due to DST changes?

I’m curious if you are currently running 5.3 or earlier if are planning to upgrade to 5.4.1 or 5.5 due to the DST changes.

  You need more choices. We are upgrading to 5.4.1, but not due to the Daylight Savings Time changes.

  We are currently using 5.2 with 1.3 java. We don’t plan on upgrading. I talked with support and they confirmed, only the GUI’s are affected. Which in our case affects the hostserver and our windows clients ability to display the correct time. Anything associated with the hciengine and the processing of messages uses the c libraries so the actual time stamps on the messages will be correct. As long as the OS patch is applied. We will just be annoyed for a few weeks when we are working in the GUI.

  In addition to the GUI’s, according to the bulletin, the log entries will also be affected.
