      Has anyone tried applying this patch?

      We run 5.3 on AIX 5.2 and could not get it to work unless we used the AIX Java (version 1.4.1) to update the Quovadx version (1.3.1).

      Was curious to hear if any one else had this same issue…

          Jim ,

          The Java patch only works for RTE 1.4 .

          We did not apply the patch since we are running Cloverleaf 3.8.1P and

          our Java RTE is 1.3.

            According to the table on page 2 of the bulletin from Quovadx, it should work for Quovadx v5.3, JRE 1.3.1 (isn’t that what shipped with 5.3?), for AIX only.
