Text File to HL7 Conversion

Hi

I have various reports in seperate text files. I have to place the complete text of the report in OBX.5 of an ORU message. I need to parse the text and get some essential values like Patient Name, Account# etc and build  the ORU message.

I am trying to get the whole text on the inbound side of a translation. FRL and VRL does not work. I am trying for HRL’s now.

Can someone suggest the best method to do it inside a translation and what input format I should use to be able to get the complete text in a variable/field/segment.
