VRL to HL7 concat difficulties

      I am not able to concat multiple fields together from a VRL and get the separator I want to put into a HL7 field.  It keeps defaulting to a ^ separator.  Soure data is VRL and destination data is HL7

          Jay,

          Give us a more detailed example.

          It may simply be that you have your destination pointed to a Component type field rather than a specific component of the field (if that is where you want the concatenated result).

            I changed it to a text field and it worked.  Thanks.
