Test tool producing large heapdump and javacore files

Has anyone who is running QDX 5.4 on AIX 5.2 had their test tool runs produce large javacore/heapdump files. If so, were you able to remedy the issue by increasing the maxuproc setting? We are looking to increase maxuproc from 512 to 2048. Anyone know of any issues with such an adjustment? Just a sanity check… Thanks.
