We have recently upgraded our test sites from CL 5.3 to CL 5.4. Today we encountered an issue related to path copies. In our case we had a translate that was trying to path copy a GT1 segment. The issue was that the GT1 segment was not defined for the A03 message type on the output variant. Incidentally, we use wildcard routes to use a single xlate for nearly all of our ADT messages. The root of the problem is with the variant and the segment needs to be defined, however, we are concerned with the error handling for this event. In CL 5.3 the following warning would occur and the processing of the message would continue with no adverse effects (with exception of the segment not getting copied).
The # 9 segment encountered ‘GT1’ is not defined for message type ‘ADT_A03’. Segment ignored.
