disaster recovery temporary license

Hello,

I wanted to know if any sites are using a “temporary” license for their second (DR) box?

1. Can we install the engine on a second box using the temporary license and have it “ready” to take over in case the primary box crashes?

2. Do we have to have a valid (non-temporary) license even before we can install the engine on a second box?

3. What other options do I have if I do not want to buy a second license?

  I had a temporary license key for cloverleaf for a couple of days when testing the disaster recovery process which included our ADT System interfacing with the Cloverleaf that was tested offiste.

  We do a disaster recovery test every 6 months and call Quovadx Support a couple of days in advance of each test for a temporary key for our disaster recovery system, located off-site.
  
  We keep the Cloverleaf software permanantly loaded on the disaster recovery system. I don’t recall that we needed a license key to install it originally.
