Client Throttle message in multi-server port configuration

I set the maximum number of connections for a particular inbound thread to 3 (for a multi-server thread). When only 2 clients were connected, the status window indicated via an error message that only 2 clients were connected. Ok, so you can see if the max number of clients allowed are connected or not.

However, once the 3rd client connected I expected the error message to disappear. Instead, now I have an error message “Client Throttle.”

I created a new ack script to return acks to the correct IP address, so that’s working fine. And the volume is low even amongst the 3 clients (one reason for reducing the number of threads — to conserve resources). Any idea what the throttle message indicates? I don’t have any documentation regarding these errors.
