monitord death

      I have one site in which monitord appears to be constantly dead.   It is only up if I stop it, go out and back into Network Monitor.   If I go to another site and come back, it’s dead again.   The thread status is up but the icons show dead.    Could this just be a network timeout issue with this one site?   I have other sites without this problem.  TIA!

          What version are you running Gene?

          We have this problem sometimes too. The thread status was UP but the icon shows Dead. We are running on V5.2.

            Sam, we’re on Quovadx 5.3, AIX 5.2

              1. What Rev level are you running?

              2. To trouble shoot the issue, to $HCISITEDIR/exec/hcimonitord

                Look in the hcimonitord.err file.

               Very likely it will have some lines related to the error.

              3. BTw your client is running on WinXp or WIN 2K?
