      Greetings Cloverleafers!!!

      I am wondering any one of you has implement a bi-directional order to Eclipsys SCM? We are having problem dealing with Ack and Nak, keep getting a lot of errors saying Caught a CSocketError waiting for ACK.

      Can you share your script to handle the SCM ACK?

      Your help is very appreciated!

          Here is an example from our site, of what is sent from SCM to the Engine on the HL7ACK_OUT port:

          MSH|^~`|SCM|SCM|LABORD_IN||20060308050502||ORR^O02|106030805050243279|D|2.3

          MSA|AA|552810-067397908301

          ORC|OK|022693655_5300385^LAB|||SC||||20060308050502

          ZRC||001KSD434^SCM

          Here is what is sent from the Engine back to SCM on the SAME PORT (This is a hex dump):

          0b061c0d

          Double check and make sure you are using the same port number on SCM as the Engine.

          In the Management Console, what is the status of the HL7ACK_OUT thread? It should be “Connection is Established”.

          Have you been working with your Eclipsys Interface Specialaist on this problem? What does he/she say?
