what other defined map tables are there besides ibm_e2a and ibm_a2e?

SMAT has two different types. The EBCDIC defined mapping correctly converts the EBCDIC | to an ASCII | while the EBCDIC alternate mapping converts EBCDIC | to an ASCII ]. This is what the IBM_e2a does — a pipe to a bracket. Not good. Where’s the correct one?

          Michael,

You can copy the one that exists and modify it to what you want. If you place it in the right directory, it will be in the SMAT pull down.

Also the proc you are using (if it is the Quovadx provided proc) has an argument to point to the map you want to use – I think.

I do not know where they exist. What directory? I’ve created one before, so I think I’ll attempt to create another one.
