Has anyone successfully used the tclMail package to send out email with attachments? If so, how did you do it?
How about any other command-line SMTP utilities for Windows platforms? We are currently using something called “Blat” but are having problems with attachments…
We use a couple of routines written in PERL that we compiled using the PERL SDK. One routine uses sendmail the other uses SMTP and MIME. The second option is the one we use for attachments and it manages them very well because we are using email standards (SMTP and MIME).
Unfortunately I can’t send you copies of the source or the executable but hopefully it may give you some ideas as to what else you may be able to do using Cloverleaf with other languages.
