I’ve seen variations of this question in the forums but can’t find exactly what I’m looking for.  I need to upload text files to a secure web server.  I have the user name, password and url (https) for doing this manually but how do I set up a thread to do it?  I’m assuming I’d pick up the files with a fileset protocol but then how to send them on to the web server?

We’re running Cloverleaf 5.3 on AIX.

      Thanks in advance

          Matt,

We never used this CL feature but if you want to use Cloverleaf with HTTP you need to select in the outbound thread the HTTP-Client protocol and use the POST (or PUT) method. You can select the HTTPS option in that protocol if you want the data encripted (HTTPS).

Also, I think that you will have to read the whole file as one message, otherwise it will be sent line by line.

I believe that you need to get the license key from Quovadx for that protocol.

          Best regards,

          Carlos

Thanks for the reply Carlos.  I’ll see what’s down that road.
