I know this has probably been asked before and I think I know the answer, but here it goes…

I want to know if there are any additional “undocumented” elements that can be pulled when an alert is triggered.   I know I can get the overall text of the alert with the %A and the file that text is contained within in %F.  Is there any way to get key elements such as the process, thread, etc that may be associated with the given alert.  I know I could probably parse the alert message itself to get the thread and then find the associated process based upon the thread name, but I was hoping for something a little more straight forward….

Any thoughts, suggestions, criticisms, or good jokes  ðŸ˜† ?

      thanks,

      Ryan Spires

            Ryan,

Did you get any feed back? I tried to create an alert with tcl.

Please let me know if you got some documents.

            Thanks!

            David

I’ve had to pass parse %R in scripts that fire for alerts that are set on multiple threads in order to determine which thread triggered the alert.  Having access to the process/thread and other specifics would be very useful.
