McKesson Series – inbound ADT – your feedback please

I’d be interested in this information as well. We’re discussing this with McKesson and haven’t gotten very far with them! Is anyone doing this already?

We are utilizing the inbound ADT feed with Series.  We’re still in the testing phase for PHS/HSM and scheduled to go live in October.  There’s concerns and a lot of training to be done with the users.  Our surgery scheduling areas will be doing a lot more data entry than what was previously required of them and I think our registration department is a little nervous about someone else doing what they usually do!

We’re using 2 different interfaces with Series. for both inbound and outbound, most of our ancillary systems use their 2.2 interface.  Outbound only for HPF and PHS, we’re using Series’ HBOCHI interface.  For the most part, we have very little trouble with them.
