alert – idle CPU

      Today we had an alert had been triggered that stated that our CPU had been idle for 5 minutes.  I got signed onto that machine and looked at process logs and saw that there had been activity on the engine during the time it stated the CPU was idle.  What exactly triggers the alert “CPU idle”?

          Is this the message you’re getting? ‘The percent of CPU time spent in idle cycles for localhost has been less than or equal to 5 for 300 seconds’

          If it is, it means your cpu is heavily overloaded. Use the
