Board Reorganization

We have been thinking about re-organizing the message board to contain less forums. This would make the board easier to use for everyone. We are also looking into increasing the text length in the digests. If we did this I would move the current posts to their new home. What are your thoughts?

  I think the fewer forums would be more concise and easier to use. I’m okay with the way it is now, but it sounds to me like this would be a definite improvement.

  The max digest length (per post) is now configurable.

  I agree that fewer forums is a good idea.
  
  Granularity is good only if it serves a purpose. The old e-mail functionality worked fine with only one category. I can see the utility in carving it up as you suggest. Seems to make it more concise.
