Has anyone done any data masking for when people look at the SMATDB files via Global Monitor or other tools?

We are being asked if there is a way to mask PHI/PII/PCI data when people look at the interface information.  While I know that the data is being stored correctly in the SMATDB, I need to be able to mask the data when people look at it so that it meets the laws that are currently being written/implemented by Governments.

I know that I can stop people from looking at data via Advanced Security, I would really like to be able to not have to go down that route if I don’t have to. I would need to be able to pick which fields to put ####### or ****** instead of showing the PHI/PII/PCI fields.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

There is no option in GM that will mask fields. Please consider entering an enhancement request through the Infor Support Portal.

You do not need Advanced Security to block access to SMAT DB or ERROR DB. The GM roles have an option to enable or disable those tools.

Thanks for the Reminder of the Roles.  Completely forgot about those.

I will submit an Enhancement request.
