Hello,
I was curious if someone could provide more information about the hcismatdb command line tools? I’ve been away from Cloverleaf for a few years and last worked with the smat files directly. Looking forward to learning about hcismatdb.

hcidbsmat is a Tcl proc I wrote sometime back to deal with DB based SMAT files. It was a follow-on to the hcismat proc I wrote many years ago to deal with the old type SMAT files.
I have not tested it in a while but I assume it has not exceeded its shelf life 🙂
I have posted it on this board a couple of times so you should be able to find it. It is pretty well documented in the comments at the top of the file.

I just remember that Cloverleaf 19.1+ uses a different encryption method and the database must be migrated to use this tool. So, I have added the migration commands to the comments of the script so you don’t have to search for them. So I will post a new copy.
It is a Tcl .htc file. If on Unix simply remove the suffix and make the file executable. I would recommend you put it in the contrib directory to make accessible to all sites.
I don’t even know if this script is of value anymore because of all the tools being added to the latest releases but here it is.
