Due to space issues, we have created a new location for SmatHistory files to be stored on.  When I tried to do some testing on our test server, I added the location that I wanted the SmatHistory to go to, and then I received a pop-up “The following preference changes require restarting engine to take affect.”  What does that actually mean, just restarting the hciengine for that site, or actually rebooting?

Has anyone else made this change and would be willing to give some helpful tips?

      OS: Redhat Linux

      Cloverleaf version: 19.1.2.0

      Thank you for your help!

No reboot needed.  Just restart the engine for the site you changed.

The engine is referring to the process.  Restart the affected process.
