Looking at the release notes for v20.1.1.1, I see this:
FTP server protocol example in CONTRIB (25012)
An SFTP server protocol has been added to CIS. You can use this to securely send and receive files to Cloverleaf using the secured file transfer functionality of SFTP. This is a secure way to transfer files in Cloud environments, for example, CCH.
Does this mean that we do not have to purchase the secure messenger license to get the SFTP protocol?
