I just completed an upgrade to 20.1.  Now, I’ve got a minute to reflect.  I see some new features like the “Error Database” tool.  I’ve reviewed the documentation and I have idea how this tool might work from my vantage point.  However, it occurred to me, maybe it doesn’t work in that way.  And, how do I do a basic setup to test?

Then, my thoughts led me to the subject of this post.  It sure would be nice to have (new) features demoed. I think that would help with product and feature adoption.

          Hi Jared

We have a new release training program where we provide at least 2 short courses for each product release.

These are available at no charge and uou can find them on Infor campus.  Normally the courses consist of a description/discussion of the new major features and another course with a deep dive/demo of a feature.

We will take your request for Error DB under advisement.  At a high level, it works a lot like SMAT, except you’re dealing with messages in the error database.

Regarding upcoming webinars, we have a solution summit scheduled for June 15 that will include product overviews and demos.  I’ll have more information on that posted in the next few days.

Also be aware that the 20.1.1 patch was recently released, you might want to have a look at that too.

            Thanks Rob,

The error database tool and error upoc is something we’ve recently adopted the past year and has been a great quality of life improvement for our team.  Appreciate Infor providing these instructional videos besides going through the release notes, it will be extremely helpful.

            Jeff
