While working with Lonnie Davis on an issue he had we attempted to use the User Type ITERATE against a list created within the Xlate from a IB text field.

The IB field had imbedded spaces so the resultant list looked somethin like this: {text 1} {text 2} etc. A proper list with 2 elements.

But when pointing to the temp variable that contained that list as the basis for the User Type ITERATE the curly braces were ignored and instead space alone was treated as element separator such that the above resulted in the following elements:

      text

      2

      text

      1

Rather than text 1  and  text 2.

Does anybody know if this is the way the User Type ITERATE supposed to work (seems to me this should not work this way)?

Could someone with access to 19.x validate the same thing happens in that release?
