      Cloverleaf 6.2.1.

VRL set up with globals setting subfield separator as =.

VRL is a part of HRL.

When attempting to reference a subfield in an Xlate, a panic is asserted.

Example – field named field_1 in VRL. Data has ‘KEY=1234’.

In Xlate using Source specification of field_1.[0] to get ‘KEY’ subfield from above causes panic assertion in Xlate.

Does subfield notation not work with VRLs in 6.2.1 or am I missing something (I think this used to work in 6.0).

We also tried defining the ‘SF Sep’ in the VRL field definition for field_1 – same result.

      Thanks,

            Thanks Rob.

I have advised the folks that have support access to do so. They are planning to proceed to 19.1 so they might decide to just wait.

They have a work around that functions right now.

Also seem to have discovered an issue with Repeat While in HRL. Same situation here in that they may wait until their upgrade to see if it is repaired.
