      Hello,

Wanted to ask the community if there are any specific standards followed when looking at the size of Cloverleaf sites i.e. X amount of threads or processes determines when to split a site or if it’s dependent on a site volume or maybe both.  Is there any recommendation to how many threads per process that determines when a process should be split out into multiple processes.   Below is a break down of sites with threads/process count curious to hear what conventions other health systems follow in this regard.

I have assisted multiple organizations to setup multi-site architecture.

I do not believe there is a general cookbook formula.

In most cases it requires a fair amount of information regarding the workload, etc.

There have been a number of posts on the forum with the approaches others have used.

I think more information would be needed to give specific recommendations.

            Thanks Jim for the reply,

We’ve referenced the Infor published Cloverleaf Best practices document in the past, see attached, but noticed it was dated back in 2014.  I can open a ticket to see if there is an updated copy with Infor.  I have gone through and read some posts you’ve alluded to but those are bit dated and was checking just to see if anything from a Cloverleaf design has changed with the new versions of 6.2.4.0 and beyond with the addition of SMAT DB or if any recent users from the community on newer versions had any experiences to share.
