We had an issue in our Production environment, all processes in Network Monitor were down and no error messages were reported in the log files. We couldn’t start/stop any process from network monitor. When we had a similar issue in our dev environment, we were told that issue occurred because of the corrupt “monitorShmemFile” file and removing the file and re-initializing the database with “hcidbinit -i” will resolve the issue. We did the same and the issue got resolved. But, since this happened in our production environment, we want to be cautious and ensure that this doesn’t repeat. Did anyone face this same issue? If you did, do you know the root cause of the issue and how it can be avoided?
Thanks,
Suchi
